Cruising: Day 14 – At Sea

Today is our last day of the cruise and it’s a sea day. A very welcome one at that. The past 7 days have been busy with early morning tours and this West Coast body still hasn’t acclimated to the time change. Getting up at what seems to be 3:00am each day and staying up until after midnight takes a toll after a while.

The weather today was cloudy and a bit chilly with the breeze. Fortunately, the breeze was from behind the ship so it was fairly calm out on the decks. Not much sun to speak of, and a few raindrops here and there.

We spent most of the day eating and preparing to pack for home. We took some time out to watch another DVD in the room in the afternoon called “Lives of Others”. Another very good movie. We skipped the shows in the evening since they were recaps of the entertainment we saw earlier in the cruise. One last trip to the buffet at midnight and we were ready for bed and an early start to our journey home.
