Hello!
My name is Mike and I live in Stockton, Ca. I’m a licensed real estate agent, and also have a small side business as a photographer for real estate listings. I’m married to Cindy and we have four small children – 2 dogs and 2 cats. We both enjoy traveling and have been fortunate to see some interesting places outside of the USA. Our hope is to continue to travel and see as many new places as possible.
Photography has become a favorite hobby of mine for the past several years. I pretty much have my camera attached to my neck anytime we go anywhere. It’s not uncommon for me take several hundred photos on a given day depending on where I am. When I’m not taking photos I’m usually on the computer processing them or working on my web site. It can be tedious at times to process so many photos after a long trip, but the end result is always worth it.
My biggest interest outside of photography is hockey. I’ve been a huge hockey fan since 1985 when a friend of mine from college took me to my first game. The game was in Los Angeles with the Kings hosting the Vancouver Canucks. The Kings pulled off a late rally in the third period to win the game and I was hooked. I ordered season tickets the following day, and didn’t miss one home game for nearly 9 years. I even made it to some road games up in Vancouver, Edmonton, San Jose and Detroit. When my job relocated me to Northern California I gave up my season tickets, but not my allegiance to the Kings. Everyone said I’d be a Sharks fan within a year or two, but it’s been 16 years now and I’m still a big Kings fan. A frustrated one, but still a fan. A little over 5 years ago it was announced that Stockton would be home to a minor league hockey team. That team turned out to be the Thunder of the ECHL. Cindy and I have had season tickets every season and now I can say Cindy is a big fan as well. We even watch the road games over the internet, even when we were down in Rio de Janeiro on vacation. The last few seasons I’ve had the privilege of combining both of my passions – hockey and photography. I’ve taken photos for a couple of online hockey publications and hope to do more in the future. I also host an online forum for Stockton Thunder fans to discuss the team called Fans of Stockton Thunder.
