Hello, again!

It’s been a couple of months since I last posted anything. Without going into all of it, let’s just say that my life has turned upside down since last November and I’m only just now getting back into a routine that is somewhat normal. There’s still a lot going on and each day presents it’s own issues, but for now I’m trying to find the positive in things and make the best of the situation.

With everything going on I hadn’t really taken time to do something fun for myself so today I did. As part of the moving forward process I sold my two cars and bought a new MINI. It arrived yesterday so I used it as an excuse along with the really nice Spring weather to go for a drive along the coast. I made may way out to Half Moon Bay and then headed south for a bit before turning around and going north up into San Francisco. Before heading back home I drove up to Twin Peaks in San Francisco to take in the view. The viewing area provides a 360 degree view of the Bay Area. You can see out to the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Downtown, across the bay to Oakland, and south down towards the airport. It’s one of the rare times I was there without fog blocking part if not all of the view.

All in all it was a nice day out doing something fun. Like I said, the weather was perfect and it was fun driving the new car. Hopefully there are more fun days ahead.
