It’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to write about things.  I’ve been meaning to type something up, but have either gotten busy and forgot, or just didn’t know what to write about.  There hasn’t been much going on around here the past several weeks other than some work and going to a few local hockey games.

We have a road trip coming up on Wednesday that should provide something for me to write about a little bit.  We’ll be flying to Las Vegas in the morning, and from there we’ll drive to Page, Arizona.  Our plan right now is to spend the first day sightseeing and making our way to Page after about 280 miles of driving.  We have reservations to go on a tour of Antelope Canyon the next day that will be the highlight of our stay in Page.  I’m looking forward to the photo opportunities since all I’ve ever heard is that it’s really neat to see.  We’ll then head back West a bit to stay just outside of Zion National Park for more sightseeing on Friday before heading back to Las Vegas.

We have friends that are flying into Vegas Friday afternoon that we’ll be meeting up with.  Our local hockey team is playing in Vegas on Friday and Saturday nights, which is the main purpose of our trip.  I also have a tee time to play golf at Rio Secco at 7:10am Saturday so I doubt it will be a late night on Friday after the game.  We’ll be going to the game on Saturday night as well, and then our friends fly back home Sunday morning.  We’re staying until Monday before heading home.
